Alcohol Kills More Than 3.3 Million People Per Year

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Please listen to me very carefully.

Alcohol kills more than 3.3 million people every year.

From 2012 to 2022, there was an increase of 70% of deaths due to alcohol, and that’s without driving incidents.

Now, you might be thinking “wow, that’s alot, but I don’t drink everyday.” But lets think about that for a moment. That liquid courage that you’re putting into your body is the very thing that’s causing so many deaths. It can’t be good for you.

I’m Alex, a sober life coach and I use neuroscience-backed tools and techniques to help high performers get and stay sober.

I remember 5-10 years ago, there were articles claiming that one glass of wine a day was good for the heart. Those claims are long gone as the Department of Health just came out and said that alcohol is DIRECTLY LINKED to 7 different types of cancer. Directly linked… not indirectly… directly linked.

The longer that you drink, the more you’re going to realize the long laundry list of problems that it brings.

First, it’s sleep, energy, and emotions that it hijacks. It directly goes after your brain and nervous system first. Causes mental fog while at work, shuts down the pre-frontal cortex, so it impacts your decisions at work and at home. Then it distances you from your family, close friends, and work colleagues.

The fact is… It doesn’t allow you to work at your highest level. The science shows it. There’s not one good thing about alcohol intake.

Even if you’re one of those people that only drink once a week, or once every 2-3 days. Guess what? You’re ALWAYS in withdrawal. Alcohol becomes non-detecable in the body after 2-3 days, but it affects the body for much longer. Which means even if you drink once a week, you will always feel like you’re in withdrawal, because you are.

So if you’re looking to do something about this, please don’t wait because it only gets worse.
